Danielle Benson was raised in Minnesota. She has been working in the construction industry since 2003. She formally began her training as an apprentice and earned her Journeyman Carpenter Certificate in 2006, also being one of four and the only female to receive the Apprentice of the Year award. She has over 8 years of experience in civil construction including concrete work, rough construction, heavy equipment operating, surveying, and work as a field engineer. Since 2012, she has expanded her work experience to include residential construction with an knack for finish carpentry including installing interior doors, trim work - casing/ baseboard/ chair/ crown, built in shelving and "lockers", stair treads/ risers, railing systems, and fireplace mantels. Moving back to Minnesota in 2014, with optimism she formed Minnesota Monarch Construction and is excited to be a catalyst for transformation throughout the Southwest metro area.
